Do You Have RESERVATION!!!

by shellie @ Wednesday, May. 10, 2006 - 18:50:07

reservationI got this in a mail and then added some inputs:

I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I
completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this.

In Cricket Team
30% Reservations For SC/ST & OBC
Boundary circle reduced For SC/ST & OBC
Four == sixer For SC/ST & OBC
sixer == 8runs For SC/ST & OBC
60 runs == century For SC/ST & OBC
Pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.

In Olympics
100 meters race == 80 meters For SC/ST & OBC
200 Kg == 150 Kg For SC/ST & OBC
In handicap Race, a man without any legs should be allowed to participate in one legged race.

Marriage
Boy’s age == 18
Girl’s age == 15

Punishment
Murder: To be hanged till the person is half dead
Rape: 1 leg inside the jail and the other outside the jail

Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward...

Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of
being an INDIAN.

All your inputs are welcomed

shelly, whatever i sound like..but dont u think it is just a little harsh on people who have suffered so many attrocities which u and me cant even imagine, to be made fun of in this manner, i mean th eblog on ur page...

when we talk abt reservations, u must remember that we are dealing wit a sensitive issue...we all know that the govt wants to appease ppl and make political gains out of teh issue, but may be such an initiative wud allow some ppl, u ar ereally in need of reservations stand up and amke avail of opportunity...let us talk abt askin fot govt for more seats than askin to sack reservations.. the sc st and obcs make up 85% of india's population.........

Hi Charmaine...thx for the thought...I also think like you...but the reservation issue has gained political momentum and thus has lost its worth..I dont deny financial reservations..reservation to some extent is acceptable infact necessary ut how right this is to give resaervations in terms of marks...age relaxation is chalo also acceptable, monetary gnds are fine but on intelligence...i dont support this...these people take thankless advantage of these reservations...and so is this blog targetted at such people...

I hv no grudges agnst them but then i dont support such acts.

Sorry to interrupt. Reservation is not the solution to any problem. It has neevr been. Especially when parameters are lowered. Reservation is against the law of nature -- 'survival of the fittest'. There is a story that a man saw a butterfly coming out of cuccon, the insect was struggling hard. Man with his sympathy tried to help the insect and broke the cuccon so that it could get out. The insect hadn't fully developed and died. Why? That stuggle was natures way to strengthen the bosd of the insect to turn into butterly, unknowingly the man tried to help and damaged. --- thats wat reservation does. And thses polititians try to bake their cake on the heat.
I am always against reservation and will.

I belive in human spirit and will power, there was no reservation that set us free -- it was struggle, there was no reservation that brought -- industrial revolution -- it was struggle, there was no reservation behind US winning independence, there was no reservation behind allied forces against Hitler, there was no reservation for Shakespear, Beethoven, Mozart, Einstine, Newton....they all lived coz they strived.

Dont look at these so called backward class with sympathy -- like that man, you will only clip there wings and they will never become butterfyl.

By the way , shelly, that butterfly story was featured in You Can Win book.

Does anyone has the Cellphone number of Arjun Singh. I would like to send him this message----

People always wondered why did arjun singh get only half night to spend with his wife??

Simple!! because other half is reserved for OBC.
(Some backward classes can not even enjoy benefits of happy life so he thought such kind of reserversation may also help)

Please someone convey this message to him.

A sentence by IIT professor, who falls under OBC as per govt. of india has said following words:

"2nd class people(politicians) selecting 3rd class people"

it does not means SC/ST/OBC are 3rd class, but people coming under reservation are 3rd class....
